Publication Director

French disclosure rules may require identification of the publication director or responsible publisher. The operator must insert the verified name and capacity of that person in the live Legal Notice. cookinstores.shop is a trading name, not a substitute for a natural person’s name where one is legally required.

Consumer Mediation

A professional selling to French consumers must appoint a competent consumer mediator and visibly publish the mediator’s name, postal address and website, including in the terms and on the website. The mediator must be selected and contracted by the operator; a random mediator cannot lawfully be assigned in a template. Consumers should first submit a written complaint to the seller. If the complaint is unresolved, they may then contact the appointed mediator under the mediator’s admissibility rules.
